Book 1 - The world doesn't end with an explosion.

As cities collapse and an unknown infection spreads across Alberta, Caleb Mercer retreats into the wilderness with a frightened survivor named Emily and his loyal dog Rex. What begins as a fight for survival quickly becomes a battle against an evolving threat unlike anything humanity has ever faced.
Book 2 - Winter has arrived.
The infected are changing.
As survivors move deeper into the Rockies following a mysterious military signal, they discover that the infection is evolving into specialized hunter forms. The mountains are no longer a refuge. They have become a breeding ground for something far worse.
Book 3 - Spring brings new dangers.
The thaw reveals what winter concealed.
As the settlement at Peace River struggles to rebuild, buried infected begin emerging from the melting ground. Survivors must confront threats both inside and outside their walls while learning that the infection's evolution is far from over.
Book 4 - Dead Fields
The cold kept the infected buried. The thaw is bringing them back. And some of them have changed.
Caleb Mercer and his battered group of survivors are moving east across Canada, hunting the hidden bunkers responsible for experiments that should never have existed. But after everything they’ve survived, the infected are no longer the only monsters waiting for them.
As winter loosens its grip, new horrors emerge.
Some hunt beneath the cover of tall grass. Others use sound to draw prey into the open. And somewhere in the wilderness, a massive infected predator known as the Dread Fur has learned that humans aren’t the only prey worth hunting.
Every mile east brings new questions about the experiments, the infected, and what may still be waiting inside the abandoned facilities scattered across the country. Supplies are running thin. Trust is becoming harder to earn. New survivors may strengthen the group, or give them more people to lose.
